As a recognition of his acting career, the Oscar award winner Morgan Freeman has been named among receivers of the 43rd annual Chaplin Award.

Morgan Freeman will be recognised for his acting roles in movies which includes “Lean on Me,” “Driving Miss Daisy,” “The Shawshank Redemption,” “Seven” and “Million Dollar Baby,” the 2004 film that earned him an Academy Award.

Other significant awards hanging on freeman’s shelve includes a Cecil B. DeMille Award with Golden Globes, and a Kennedy Center Honor just to mention a few.
