Desmond Elliot Wins House Of Assembly Seat

Report reaching us states that popular Nollywood actor, Desmond Olusola Elliot has won his bid to represent the people of Surulere constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Bayo Smith.


Even though the official results have not been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commmission (INEC) the Nollywood actor was spotted celebrating with his fans last night.

A few ago, the actor turned politician revealed that he chose to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), because it is the party of change and the party to be in.

He added that those who motivate him politically are Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola for his administrative effort, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his strong will and resilience and Governor Godswill Akpabio for his energetic mind in nation-building.
