The Nigeria Football Federation Technical and Development Committee Chairman, Felix Anyansi Agwu confirmed that the Football House will meet with the representatives of estranged Super Eagles' coach, Stephen Keshi on Wednesday in Abuja.
Both parties hope to settle the disagreements that have been stalling the signing of a new contract by Stephen Keshi.
Anyansi disclosed to Goal that Keshi shouldn’t have proceeded to the media to express his grievances about the condition attached to his new contract offer when he still has the contact of his employers.
Speaking to Goal, Felix nyansi Agwu said; "there is a meeting between the NFF and Keshi on
Wednesday in Abuja,”
“Recently the NFF wrote Keshi and displayed their displeasure at the turn of event regarding the contract stipulations sent to him. The letter was also meant for him to give us a feedback.
“Keshi replied us through his lawyer and requested for a meeting which is coming up on Wednesday in Abuja.
“We are going to have a discussion with his lawyer for us to look at the so called grey areas. It is the way it should be and not what he did that he went to the pages of the newspapers to start unnecessary tantrum.
Appearing before the Senate last week, the Sports Minister, Tamuno Danagogo and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick revealed that Stephen Keshi will be getting N5M monthly if he returns as coach of the Super Eagles.
