Singers ordered to pay $7.3m to Marvin's Gaye estate over 'Blurred Lines

Robin Thicke and Pharrell have been ordered by the court presiding over the copyright infringement case of the smash 'Blurred Lines' to pay the sum of $7.3 million to Marvin Gaye's estate.
According to the jury the song by Robin Thicke and Pharrell copied Marvin Gaye's 'Got To Give It Up' song released in 1977.
At the trial copyright infringement trial Pharrell said the songs share the same "feel".

The 2013 hit single "Blurred Lines" has reportedly generated $16.5 million.

Gaye's family was seeking for more than $25 million.
