In China9 injured in knife attack at bus station

9 people have been left injured after an early morning knife attack at a station in Guangzhou, China, BBC reports.

Reports says one suspect was killed, while another was caught. No information has been given as the motive for the attack.
Five victims and the detained suspect were reported to be in a stable condition, while four other victims were still receiving emergency treatment.
In recent months there have been two attacks on stations in China, in Kunming and Urumqi which authorities have blamed on extremists from China's Uighur Muslim minority.

However the other attacks including one on school children, have been blamed on people with personal grudges or mental health problems.

Following the attack, Guangzhou authorities moved in swiftly to establish a tight security presence.
