In Chad At least 3 killed in protest over use of motorbike helmet

No fewer than 3 people have been killed in the last couple of days following the break-out of student led protests over the use of helmets in Chad.
Chadian authorities closed all schools and universities in the wake of the protests over new regulations which require motorbike riders (or okada riders as they're known in these parts) to wear a helmet.
Many people oppose the new safety regulation, arguing that helmets are too expensive and too hot for the climate.

Meanwhile helmet prices have tripled since the new regulation was introduced earlier this month.
