Chadian president, Idriss Deby has revealed that he was the one responsible for the current coordinated attacks on Boko Haram.

President Deby said that if left to President Jonathan alone, nothing would be done to tackle the terrorists.
Deby has been said to be the one who was responsible for the attack on Boko Haram camps, as the insurgents have been obstructing Chad’s trade routes with Nigeria.Three nations  who have been affected by the insurgency, Chad, Niger and Cameroon officials say that Nigeria has failed to organize a regional task force against the terrorists according to Reuters.

Diplomats have been saying that Nigeria has left the security work to be done by its significantly smaller neighbours despite being one of Africa’s major power.
Since Chad has entered the war, they have been able to press deep into the Islamist groups controlled area, they could have gone deeper but Nigeria has refused to let them in.

Chadian Army spokesman, Colonel Azem Bermandoa said: We turned back because Nigeria did not authorise us to go any further.

Chadian involvement in the war against Boko Haram has been praised highly by the critics of the war against Boko Haram, They have freed multiple cities in just a couple of weeks.
